Groups
Group therapy is a powerful treatment modality. The power of group lies in the support and feedback given by other group members as well as by the therapist. Groups generally consist of between five and 11 members, and are led by a therapist. While joining a group can feel intimidating, group treatment offers advantages which cannot be found in individual therapy. It is essential to remember that in group therapy, no one will be coerced to speak about any issues they wish to remain private.
